We didn’t want to build a new house from scratch. We found a traditional wooden cottage built in 1930 in Świlcza village near Rzeszów and we “transplanted” the entire cottage from Świlcza to Lutowiska.

The guiding principle we had when restoring the cottage was to preserve the appearance and the atmosphere of an old regional house as much as possible. In the course of restoration, we used exclusively natural materials, whilst fitting in all the modern conveniences at the same time. The cottage is decorated with old everyday objects from the region, antiques and works of art brought from all over the world. We also decided to go with natural materials in the interiors: wood, stone, wicker and beautiful textiles. All the above aspects combine to create a unique atmosphere. Our cottage is environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Magoda’s defining feature is its cosy and intimate nature – it provides a safe haven and a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
